The process for School (STEP BY STEP)

Application form
We request schools to fill the application form

Signing agreement
We will email you the draft agreement which you can check and print it out on your letter head with signature and stamp of your school officials.

Interview of Teachers
Once you will shortlist a teacher The interview will be held by you and between the Teacher via google meet or any other video conference platform.

Cost of Living estimate form
We will request you to provide us the cost of living estimate so it will help the teacher to get a scenerio what it is being like living in USA. It will make them decide and agree over the salary which your school will offer to them.

Recruitment Report
We need a recruitment report from you that you have conducted an interview and have checked the knowledge of teacher in a particular field. You have test the English language of the teacher.

Selection & Salary of Teacher
Once the teacher will be selected during the interview then the salary has to be decided as per the cost of living standard form filled by you.

DS 2019 Form
After the Teacher is selected , your School has to sponsor the Teacher, if you cannot sponsor then you have to find a spondor to fill DS 2019 Form.

Joining of Teacher
Once the teacher will join at your school then you or Sponsor need to validate travel form every year which will enable Teacher to travel back to his / her Country during the summer vacation and Holidays.
Sponsors must provide participants with the following information:

Duration
The duration and location(s) of the participants’ program which can be from 1 - 3 years and can be extended for 4th and 5th year.

Summary of Program
A summary of the significant components of the program, including fees and costs of the program, a written statement of the teaching requirements and related professional obligations.

Package
A written statement that clearly indicates the compensation package to be provided to the exchange visitor teacher and any other financial arrangements relevant to the program.

Extensions
The base period for a teacher exchange is three years. However, host schools may apply to the sponsor for a one or two year extension of the exchange (the extension must be for whole years, not fractions of years). Extension requests are not automatic, but there is no limit on the number of extensions that the State Department can grant.
School / Host / Sponsor are required to:

Selection of Teacher
Screen and select qualified foreign teachers based on qualifications and also based on who can make a contribution to the education of students in the United States and who want to learn U.S. teaching methods

Language Test
Verify each teacher applicant’s English language proficiency through recognized language tests or interviews

Keep Record
Monitor the exchange teachers’ stay in the United States to ensure that they are satisfactorily performing their teaching responsibilities.
